Main tasks of the Council 

As part of the project, the Council: 

• collects information from entrepreneurs on current skills and competency needs in the IT, telecommunications and cybersecurity sectors, 

• prepares and updates recommendations on aligning workforce skills with the needs of the economy, 

• initiates cooperation between businesses and universities and schools, 

• identifies initiatives that support the acquisition of new skills and competencies, 

• cooperates with the Sectoral Skills Centers, 

• carries out information and educational activities promoting the benefits of learning in the workplace and cooperation between business and education. 

The Council analyzes the needs of the industry and forecasts future directions for skills development, taking into account technological progress, digitalization, and sustainable development.
